This policy explains what information Boberg Engineering & Contracting, Inc. ("Boberg Engineering," "we," "us") collects through this website and our crew text-message program, how we use it, and the choices you have.

  • Text-message program. If you sign up for our crew text messages, we keep your name, mobile phone number, the date and way you agreed to receive texts, the messages we send you, their delivery status, and any replies you send.
  • Website usage. Like most websites, our web host records basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) in server logs. Pages may use cookies set by services such as Google (for example, embedded maps). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How we use information

  • To respond to you and run our business.
  • To send work-related text messages to employees and subcontractors who have agreed to receive them: job assignments, start times, foreman contact information, job site locations and schedule changes.
  • To keep records of consent and opt-outs, and to meet our legal obligations.

Text messaging and your mobile number

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, or your text-message opt-in data and consent, with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described in this policy excludes text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We use a text-messaging service provider (Twilio) only to deliver our messages and to process your replies. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as our website host and text-messaging provider), under obligations to keep it confidential and use it only for the services they provide us, or when required by law.

Keeping information safe

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we keep. We keep text-message records only as long as needed for the program and our legal obligations.

Children

This website and our text-message program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
